Sea Cloud Hall Leeds Opening Event!
We did it! The keys to our brand-new permanent home for Taoist Arts are in hand, and we marked this incredible milestone with a celebration to remember. It was heartwarming to see so many people from across the UK – Scotland, Sheffield, Manchester, York, London, and Leicester – come together to share occasion.
A Celebration Like No Other
The day began with an invigorating training session with Laoba, energizing everyone for the festivities ahead. With just one hour to prepare, the team transformed the space into a vibrant hub of activity, buzzing with excitement. Volunteers sprang into action, making sure every detail was perfect. Delicious Food and Delightful Experiences
Lunch was a feast of Chang Ming cuisine, including a barbecue and delectable desserts.
Guests also enjoyed a tea-tasting stall, sampling exquisite Chinese and herbal teas, while browsing celebratory merchandise like books, T-shirts, and hoodies.
Inspiring Performances
The celebration continued in the training room, where two captivating performances left the audience spellbound. The energy and artistry of these moments were unforgettable! (Here’s a snippet from one of the performances.)
A Grand Finale
To wrap up the day, we held an exciting raffle, leaving everyone with smiles and a lot of lucky people with trinkets from this special event.
