The International Taoist Society (ITS) was established in the 1950s in the UK in order to promote the ancient and rich traditions, culture and knowledge of Taoism. Taoism can trace its routes back thousands of years in China.

The International Taoist Society is responsible for maintaining the quality of the Taoist Arts of Lishi taught by our qualified coaches at classes around the world. We also provide opportunities for more people in the West to discover the philosophy, science and practise of Taoism.

We are currently raising funds to purchase a headquarters where we will be able to run teacher training courses and continue to host Taoists from around the world who come and share their knowledge and practices. If you would like to support our work, please click here
